I’m deeply passionate about/involved in the startup scene. Thus, I’m constantly looking for inspiration, advice, guidance. I like to learn and I like to do it fast.
The process of entrepreneurship is really a game with several stages. You are constantly trying to move through the game, the levels, in order to come out a winner. In a traditional video game you face a boss or end-level character. In the game of entrepreneurship you don’t face a boss, but you do need to face yourself at the end of each level, asking yourself…
What did I gain here? What did I win?
This lead me to the idea of winning wisdom. After each stage you should have some wisdom to show. A lesson you’ve learned.
Recently I’ve been struggling with the idea of balance, as many passionate people (that I know of, at least) struggle with.
The good news is, I won some wisdom after completing Accountability, Level 1.
Top performers embrace challenge but pace themselves.Without balance, pace and focus I find that I waste energy and time while also sacrificing quality. So, I shall take my challenges as they come, but I will pace myself.
If you’ve got any wisdom you’ve won, I’d love to hear it.
