Simple. Simplicity. Breaking down the complex.
Those are themes that are so, so, so important in my life. They are a core philosophy by which I operate. So, a few things I’ve encountered re: simplicity today.
1. This article by Ken Segall on Fast Co. Great lessons from Steve Jobs. I recommend it to anyone, especially those currently working in sizable organizations.
2. This quote, by a fella named Albert Einstein (you might have heard of him):
”Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius — and a lot of courage — to move in the opposite direction.”
How can you simplify things today? How can you KISS? Keep it Simple, Stupid
Distill things down, everywhere you can. And practice KISSing as much as possible.
