I am a writer, designer and entrepreneur.
I believe in the power of simplicity and compelling stories. My time is dedicated to creativity and problem solving.
I will graduate in May from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. I have an irrepressible passion for advertising, marketing, and general creativity. I’m majoring in communications/journalism (advertising) and minoring in graphic design and Spanish.
In the advertising world I strive to be heterogeneous—a seemingly motley (yet entirely cohesive) mix of strategy, business, management and analytical skills coupled with an insatiable appetite for creating.
Currently I’m writing for Advertising Week, AdBuzz and MIMA. My documentary (www.CreativesGoWest.us) is due out in Spring. I am a member of the MIMA Higher Education and Blogging committees. Formerly I was president of UST AdFed and a member of the AdFed MN Special Events committee.
It may be worthwhile to note I am a red belt in karate (with two stripes). Also, I would have won the spelling bee in 6th grade if I hadn’t been asked to spell “onomatopoeia” in the final round. Onomatopoeia is an entirely ridiculous word, I might add.
